Trade Fair
The Tarazona Trade Fair was held on the weekend of 6th and 7th May. A large number of companies based in the area participated in the fair, and the Casa del Traductor also put up a stand with a selection of books that have been translated at the House.
Book Fair
Tarazona Book Fair was held on 23rd April, Saint George's Day. The citizens of Tarazona turned out in great numbers. To give people the opportunity to find out more about the work that we do at the Casa del Traductor, we took part in the festivities too, with a stand showing a selection of the books translated at the House.
New stage and Brigitte
On 7th April 2017 Enrique Alda won a public competition for the position of coordinator and technical adviser of the Tarazona Translator’s House. With that appointment, the House has begun a new stage.

Dutch translator Brigitte Coopmans arrived on 23rd April. Brigitte is translating a work by Juan Gabriel Vásquez, Los amantes de Todos los Santos (Lovers on All Saints' Day is the English title). Brigitte is staying until 5th June.
From all of us at the Casa del Traductor, we wish her the best of luck with the translation, which will be a tough challenge to say the least.
